It is very delicious traditional Russian salad .You can serve as a side dish with main course or at the party as a appetizer.People eat as a appetizer in Turkey.
Russian salad, first made in Moscow by Lucien Olivier who is French cook, began to spread to many parts of the world in the 19th century.It has become widespread in Turkey thanks to the restaurants opened by the Russians in Istanbul.
Olivye Salad Serve:4 to 6 Prep Time:30 mins Ingredients 3 medium size patato 2 medium size carrots 1 cup pea 6 cucumber pickles 5 tablespoon mayonnaise 5 tablespoon yoghurt salt Directions *Boil patato,carrots in a pot together.Test whether it is cooked with a fork. *Boil peas in a another pot or you can use a canned peas *Chop boiled vegetables and cucumber pickles cube-shaped and mix with peas. *Mix yoghurt ,mayonnaise ,salt and add to mixture. |
