CARROT CINNAMON WALNUT BREAD 


Prep Time:15 mins
Cook Time:50 mins
Serves 4 to 6


Ingredients        

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of oil
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 medium size carrot,grated
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup of walnut,crushed
  • 10 gr baking powder
  • 5 gr vanilla
  • (I dont like sugar so I use 1/2 cup of sugar,ıf you are like me you can reduce)
DIRECTIONS

  • Whisk the eggs and sugar together in a large bowl with hand mixer until sugar melt.
  • Add milk and oil into it and keep to mix.
  • Add flour,baking powder and vanilla to egg by sifting to the mixture and carry on to mix
  • Add cinnamon,walnut and grated carrot into it and mix with spatula.
  • Grease long and deep mold,pour mixture into mold.
  • Put in the oven which is not preheated to 180 degress.
  • Bake for about 50 minutes in oven.Do not open the oven door for first 10 minutes.
  • Check occasionally the bread.
  • As a last check your bread with toothpick again to be sure of that it is cooked.If any batter sticks to the tootpick continue to bake until done.
  • Take it out and let it rest 15 minutes before removing from mold.
  • TIPS
  • -For test to cook ınsert a toothpick in the middle of bread.If it is cleaned when removed,the bread is ready to take out from the oven.If any batter sticks to the tootpick continue to bake untill it is completely cook.
  • -You should not open the oven door for the first 20 minutes after you put your bread in the oven.
  • -You should make sure that the ingredients you use are at room temperature.
  • -Use dry ingredients by sieving
